How to Order
1. Contact Us.
For all your stationery simply contact us with your event date, venue, number of guests and telephone number, and we’ll be delighted to discuss your requirements in more detail and prepare your quotation accordingly.
2. Creative Meeting.
In Person – We arrange for you to visit our studio in Harrogate for a complimentary 1 hour discussion on initial design concepts.
Online – For those too far away to visit we can carry out this process online via email, Facetime or Skype.
Do you have any definite ideas yet? Maybe you’d love to have a painting of your venue in a similar style to our example here of Newby Hall, or perhaps a design from our Off the Peg collection takes your fancy. Mood boards and Pinterest are also a great source of inspiration. Don’t worry of it’s a blank page for you at this stage as we always have plenty of ideas enabling us to turn your vision into a reality.
By the end of this step we will have a strong idea for the design style you're aiming for, and be able to complete an Order Specification against which we can prepare your Quotation.
Quotations are based on the complexity of the design, how many printed items you choose within the collection, quantities you will need, your cardstock and special extras such as lined envelopes or ribbon etc.
Specifications can of course be tweaked until you are happy that the quotation we provide you with works within your budget.
For Weddings, you will need to start the ball rolling ideally 7 months prior to your wedding.
Our Quotation will confirm the complexity of design, quantities, costs, and deadlines. At this point we will ask you for a 50% deposit to begin the Design Stages.
4. DESIGN STAGE 1 — Sketch, Colours and Layout.
Following our initial consultation this stage is for honing the design concept and your input is very important. it is now you can make any changes all included in your bespoke package. By the end of this we will ask for your approval of sketch. Any major changes after this will incur an additional charge.
5. Design Stage 2 — and Final Proof.
The final version of your invitation will be hand painted and we will send you a digital colour PDF Final Proof for your approval. It is really important at this stage to check all information details thoroughly and that they are correct, obviously small tweaks are included but at this stage any major alterations to the design will have to be charged for.
6. Payment of Balance.
Once you are 100% satisfied with the design and have approved the design proofs and specifications, we will then require the remaining 50% of the invoice total before sending it to our trusted printers. Please note that we are unable to make further changes once the artwork has been sent.
Please note that turnaround time is partially based on how quickly you can approve your proofs which in turn affects the date we send your files to the printer.
Your stationery will be delivered by Royal Mail 1st Class or by Courier. We will let you know when your order is ready for despatch.
