We will create a bespoke collection especially for you, designed to incorporate your choice of colours, flora and fauna, or perhaps your venue.

bespoke stationery

A very popular choice if you like our style. We will create a bespoke collection especially for you, designed to incorporate your choice of colours, flora and fauna, or perhaps your venue.
Another option is to choose one of our lovely Off the Peg designs.

A very popular choice is to use a bespoke painting of your venue for the invitation design. A lovely keepsake of the event for your guests.

How to  Order

1. Contact Us.

We don’t ask you to go through the hassle of completing a detailed online enquiry form. Simply email us your event date, venue, number of guests and telephone number, and we’ll call you back to discuss your requirements in more detail.

For party or event invitations or stationery contact us and we will be delighted to prepare you a quotation accordingly. The design fee for your bespoke artwork starts at £200 although this does depend on the complexity of your design.  This does not include the cost of printing. Please allow 4 weeks before you are able to post your invitations to your guests.

The most important thing is to set the tone for your special event.

2. Creative Meeting.

In Person – We arrange for you to visit our studio in Harrogate for a complimentary 1 hour discussion on initial design concepts.

Online – For those too far away to visit we can carry out this process online via email, Facetime or Skype.

Do you have any definite ideas yet? Maybe you’d love to have your venue painted in a similar style to our example here of Newby Hall, or perhaps a design in our Off the Peg collections takes your fancy but you’d like your own to be created.  Mood boards and Pinterest are also a great source of inspiration.  Don’t worry of it’s a blank page for you at this stage as we always have plenty of ideas enabling us to transform your vision into a reality.

By the end of this step we will have a strong idea for the design style we’re aiming for, and be able to complete an Order Specification against which we can prepare your Quotation.

3. Quotation.

Quotations are based on the complexity of the design, how many printed items you choose within the collection, quantities you will need, your cardstock and special extras such as lined envelopes or ribbon etc.

Specifications can of course be tweaked until you are happy that the quotation we provide you with works within your budget.

You will need to start the ball rolling ideally 7 months prior to your wedding.

Our Quotation will confirm the complexity of design, quantities, costs, and deadlines. At this point we will ask you for a 50% deposit to begin the Design Stages.

4. DESIGN STAGE 1 — Sketch, Colours and Layout.

A further discussion with you will allow us to grasp your vision further. Hand sketches will be created for introducing styles, themes, layouts and colours. Your input here is very important and we invite you at this stage of the process to ask for any changes to be made.  We can refine it to perfection usually within a couple of tweaks and these are included in the price of your bespoke design. Any additional alterations will be charged at £50/hour. We now ask for your approval of the sketch before moving to the following stage.

5. Design Stage 2 — and Final Proof.

The final version of your invitation will be painted and we will send you a digital colour PDF Final Proof for your approval. Because you will have approved the sketch we find that any changes at this point are usually minimal tweaks with wording or text changes. It is really important at this stage to check all information details thoroughly. Two tweaks are included but again, further alterations will be charged for.

6. Payment of Balance.

Once you are 100% satisfied with the design and have approved the design proofs and specifications, we will then require the remaining 50% of the invoice total before sending it to our trusted printers. Please note that we are unable to make further changes once the artwork has been sent.

Please note that turnaround time is partially based on how quickly you can approve your proofs which in turn affects the date we send your files to the printer.

7. Delivery.

Your stationery will be delivered by Royal Mail 1st Class or by Courier. We will let you know when your order is ready for despatch.
