After qualifying in Interior Design at Leeds College of Art and Design Georgie was trained by, and worked for Smallbone of Devizes in London and Harrogate. The creative journey lead her career into the world of Television, working in design and art direction on television drama series for Pearson Television - London, Mersey TV- Liverpool, and Yorkshire Television in Leeds. The latter years were spent working on “Heartbeat” devouring the intoxicating delights of the Yorkshire Dales whilst filming.

Leaving for the USA brought new adventures whilst volunteering for the Arts Council of Princeton, New Jersey, a fabulous non-profit organisation. Georgie got stuck-in helping to run art camps and events for children up to the age of 18 years and taught various creative workshops. She was voted "Volunteer of the Year" more than once! It was in Princeton that Georgie formed her life-long friendship with Kim Moulder, a fellow artist still living in the U.S. Kim is a seasoned designer and artist who today is contributing as Design Director for Rigby Design House.

As someone who finds it hard to say no! Georgie couldn’t resist the temptation to take on interior design and creative consultancy work when asked, which has continued through word-of-mouth over the years all while caring for her husband and two children.

Georgie is full of ideas and always busy with creative work. She makes everyone smile with her positivity and bubbly personality. In her spare time she is usually found in the kitchen cooking for family, friends and B&B guests. If not there, she is happily out enjoying a walk with the family’s beloved dog Poppy, her camera in tow as she looks for inspiration in a tree, flower or landscape—at every turn.
